The annual Saginaw Bay Nature Festival, hosted by the Rotary Club of Pinconning and Standish, will host its third nature walk Wednesday, May 24. The event is free and open to the public. Participants are invited to the McLean Nature Preserve, located at 2199 N. Flajole Road in Rhodes. The free tour begins at 4 p.m. and will have attendees exploring the preserve's picturesque trails and the region's vibrant flora and fauna. The preserve is north of Erickson Road in Garfield Township. The 'Wildflower Walk' will be led by Jim McLean and will offer an opportunity to witness the beauty of wildflowers in full bloom, observe a variety of bird species, spot turtles, and savor the views of the north branch of the Kawkawlin River.
