The Arenac County 4-H Foundation held their annual scholarship interviews on April 24 and chose six recipients who will be receiving a scholarship to help with their tuition/books for fall semester.

“The event went great, with about 16 tractors,” said Ryan Stokoszynski, Future Farmers of America Advisor.
Beginning May 29, MSUE will offer six sessions introducing mindfulness techniques toward improved sleep.
Beginning May 22, MSUE will offer the 90-minute classes at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Attendance is free.
Participants will learn how to prepare and sell foods to the public under Michigan’s Cottage Food Law.

Au Gres-Sims residents will be asked to vote on a millage proposal for the Au Gres-Sims School District this August. The proposal will build on the success of the 2018 bond initiative and include a 1.5 mill increase, according to the district. The main purpose is to generate funds to repair outdated infrastructure components, improve visitor and athlete safety at the stadium, and build a state-of-the-art, year-round community center (air dome).
