WASHINGTON—Congressman Dan Kildee issued the following statement endorsing Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States:

 “I strongly support and endorse Kamala Harris to be our Democratic nominee for President of the United States,” Kildee said.

“Democrats must immediately come together around Kamala Harris to defeat Donald Trump. Kamala Harris has already been elected and earned the trust of the American people, and she has served honorably as Vice President. She is uniquely qualified to serve as President of the United States.”

“Kamala Harris represents a new generation of leadership for our country, and I know she has what it takes to win in November,” he said.
