Sterling Elementary held its annual Christmas Program on Thursday, Dec. 5 in the Standish-Sterling Community High School Auditorium. Eight classes in pre-k and kindergarten performed four to five holiday songs each, with favorites that included All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, and many others.

Young Fives students from Ms. Johnson, Mrs. Morel, and Mrs. Proctor’s classes performed, as well as kindergartners in Mrs. Jacobs, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Huovinen, Mrs. Backus and Mrs. Collier’s classes.

The music teacher at Sterling Elementary is Morgan Stanley. For the annual presentation, sound was provided by Phil Hinkson, technical support by Ken Adrian, lighting by Derek Wilk, decorations by the Northeast Michigan Arts Council, snowflake wands by SSC PTO, and backstage production by Diane Potts.
