Standish and Au Gres have become popular destinations for locals looking to bask in the summer sun while enjoying a variety of weekly concerts. Musical guests have been performing in Standish every Thursday since June 13, and every Wednesday in Au Gres since June 5.
On Aug. 1, the Steve Drzewicki Polka Band performed in Standish, while the DaSalle Brothers performed in Au Gres Aug. 7.
The 2024 will soon come to an end, with three shows left in Standish, and only remaining in Au Gres.
The last concert in Standish is on Aug. 22. In Au Gres, the final week will be a performance by the Gypsum Kings on Aug. 14.
Shows for both locations begin at 6:30 p.m. The Au Gres Summer Concert Series is held at Au Gres City Park, 401 N. Main St. The event is hosted by Au Gres Community Events, ACE. The Standish Historic Depot Summer Concert Series is held at the Standish Historical Depot and Welcome Center, 107 N. Main St. It is hosted by the Depot.
The remaining lineup in Standish is as follows:
Aug. 8 – Likewise; Aug. 15 – Kowalski Brothers Band; and Aug. 22 – Omer City Limits in the City of Omer.
