Stabbing victims continue recovery at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City
Munson Healthcare confirmed Monday morning that staff were continuing treatment on 10 of 11 people who were stabbed at Walmart in Traverse City Saturday afternoon.

M-33 repaving in Oscoda, Ogemaw counties starts Aug. 4
ALPENA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $3 million to repave 11.8 miles of M-33 from north of Borden Road in Rose City, Ogemaw County, to 14th Street in Mio, Oscoda County.
Commissioners meet animal control officer, discuss staffing issues
The Arenac County Board of Commissioners met the county’s new animal control officer, Bob Forsyth, during their committee of the whole meeting the morning of July 8. Now working full time for Arenac County, Forsyth also works part time as animal control officer in Ogemaw County, where began working in animal control last spring.
