ALPENA, Mich. - The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $3 million to repave 11.8 miles of M-33 from north of Borden Road in Rose City, Ogemaw County, to 14th Street in Mio, Oscoda County.
The Arenac County Board of Commissioners met the county’s new animal control officer, Bob Forsyth, during their committee of the whole meeting the morning of July 8. Now working full time for Arenac County, Forsyth also works part time as animal control officer in Ogemaw County, where began working in animal control last spring.
The Standish City Council held public hearings concerning the city’s grass ordinance and a special use permit application for the property at 100 E. Cedar St. at their regular meeting July 14.
