DNR offers off-road accessibility chairs The Michigan Department of Natural Resources, DNR, is currently seeking sponsorship for its track chairs, which enable limited-mobility users to visit areas of state parks that conventional wheelchairs may not be able to access. The off-road, electronic chairs can easily handle trails, snow, sand and even up to 8 inches of water.
BAY CITY — Governor Gretchen Whitmer paid a visit to area students Monday, March 20 at the Bay-Arenac ISD Career Center in Bay City, to speak to them about college and trade school affordability. While there, she visited three classrooms and held a roundtable with students.

Region 7B, which serves the counties of Arenac, Clare, Gladwin, Iosco, Ogemaw, and Roscommon, partnered with 11 companies throughout its six-county service area to obtain over $1 million in Going PRO Talent Funds for training, developing, and retaining both newly hired and existing employees.
