On March 28, Bay Arenac ISD Superintendent Mike Vieau presented information on the breadth of programs provided by the Intermediate School District in Bay and Arenac counties to members of the Rotary Club of Pinconning and Standish.He began by saying that in 1962 the State of Michigan created 56 educational service agencies [ISDs] to provide consolidated services and save money and resources for K-12 school districts.

Commissioners approve sheriff’s dept. grant requests
During a recent Arenac County Board of Commissioners’ Meeting of the Whole, Emergency Manager Michael Bowers presented a request to use the 2022 Stone Garden Grant to purchase a Jon boat, motor, trailer, and cover for the Sheriff Department for no more than $19,000.
