Sunday concert performance set in Standish

STANDISH – Laurie and the Lefties will perform as part of the Northeast Art Center’s Second Sunday Concert series on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. The county- western musicians, formerly known as the Laurie Middlebrook Band, has been performing throughout Michigan for nearly 30 years, the art center said.

Applications accepted until March 15 AU GRES — Au Gres has announced the creation of a new Veteran’s Banner Program. The Au Gres program, according to city officials, will be modeled after a program established in Standish in 2020 that honors local veterans by displaying their military service on banners placed along decorative street pole lights in the downtown area.
