During the recent meeting of the Iosco-Arenac District Library, the board of trustees addressed a variety of topics from summer book sales, to recent events hosted by the district.Board member Sue Kingsbury reported the last summer book sale, organized by the Tawas City Library Friends, was a success bringing in over $1,000 for the library.

The 20th Annual Depot Days was held at the Standish Historical Depot Welcome Center Saturday and Sunday, Oct.7-8.The happening included vendors, carnival rides, Horse drawn wagon rides, refreshments from the Hangry Bear food truck, raffles, and a silent auction to support the historical depot.
