January is National Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, and Central Michigan District Health Department, CMDHD, is raising awareness about how to prevent cervical cancer.
The Michigan Public Health Week Partnership, a collaboration of 12 organizations working to increase the visibility of significant accomplishments in public health, is seeking nominations of individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to preserve and improve their community’s health for its annual Hometown Health Hero awards.
Building on the success of previous listening sessions, MSU Extension is offering additional virtual opportunities for the public to give feedback.In late November 2023, Michigan State University Extension — the community outreach arm of the university — began a series of public listening sessions held across the state.These sessions were part of an ongoing strategic direction process to gather input from a diverse group of people to determine where MSU Extension is, what is working well and opportunities for improvement.
