County fair fun

Arenac County hosted its annual fair last week, which featured daily exhibits, displays, races, a carnival midway, beer tent, live entertainment, livestock sales, a talent show, Speed Horse and Open Pleasure horse shows, and more.This year’s fair theme “Fall into Fair” had grandstand events that included a 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale, Thumb Tractor Pulling and Tractor Pulls, and a TNT Bump N’ Run.For more information about this year’s the 2024 fair, visit arenaccountyfair.jimdo.com or find the Arenac County Fair on Facebook.

On July 11, Isabelle Lorenzoni, a Rotary high school exchange student from Brazil, addressed members of the Pinconning and Standish Rotary Club concerning the last 11 months she spent living with families in the area while attending Pinconning High School.
