Run for the Trees registration open
Registration is open for the 2025 Run for the Trees Happy Little (Virtual) 5k. Registration packets will be issued from the beginning of March for the event, which takes place between April 19-27, encompassing Earth Day (April 22) and Arbor Day (April 25).
Tinkering around the edges

The Arenac County Veterans Affairs Committee held a gathering Jan. 7 to thank two of their founding members, chairman Ken Adrian and member Pat Shannon, for their service on the committee. Adrian and Shannon elected to end their terms early so future terms would align with the beginning of the new year.
