Wayne Stanley Partlo, 78, of Standish, Michigan, formerly of Whittemore-Prescott, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

Wayne enjoyed camping with his family. He and Joy, along with their dog, Lucy, spent many summers at the local campground socializing with friends and spending time with their grandchildren. Wayne enjoyed wintering in Florida, attending classic car shows and tinkering on his Model A hot rod. He was an avid woodworker and gifted many with his craftsmanship.

Wayne was a man of few words. When he did speak, it was with love, compassion, and always humor. His devotion and love for Joy and their family, especially the grandchildren knew no limits. Wayne was delighted and overjoyed with the recent reunion with his son and family. Wayne’s dedication to his family was evident in all that he did. He will be dearly missed by many.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joy Robinette; aunt, Audrey Skinner; sister, Paula Smith; stepdaughters, Tanya Bird (David) and Natasha Robinette-Lagina (Anthony); stepson, Lonnie Robinette; son, Daniel Newvine; grandchildren, Adaline and Laural Bird, Gianna Lagina, Joseph and Paige Newvine; niece, Shaun; nephews, Joshua, LeWayne, and Rodney; along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stan and Elizabeth Partlo and sister, Brenda Partlo.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL in Standish, Michigan.
