Two suffer minor injuries in accident on I-75


HORTON TWP — Two Sterling residents were treated for minor injuries after their car left the roadway while traveling on I-75 near Rau Rd. shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14.

According to a report from the Michigan State Police, the driver stated a deer entered the roadway in front of the vehicle. The driver swerved to avoid collision and lost control of the vehicle in the process. The vehicle traveled into the ditch and collided with several small trees before coming to a stop.

One of the occupants suffered a small laceration on his hand, while the other advised she was suffering from neck and shoulder pain. Both occupants were taken to MidMichigan Medical Center in West Branch for their injuries.
