Quilt enthusiasts make the trip to Standish for annual quilt show

The Northeast Michigan Art Council’s 24th annual quilt show at the Standish Art Center drew people from all over the state. The show, which kicked off Jan. 25 and continues Jan. 26, gave quilters from the region a chance to show off their skills and compete for ribbons. Several different categories of quilts were on display, including large and small quilts, wall hangings and more. Refreshments and raffle tickets sold during the show. The quilt show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
