Otto Snellenberger, Sr., 88, of Standish, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2019.

Otto was born February 22, 1931 in Mobile, Alabama to the late Ira Lester and Cora Mae (Simpson) Snellenberger.

Otto served his country enlisting in the U.S. Air Force, June 29, 1951.

He married the former Nancy Jean Wallace. She passed away July 3, 2016.

Otto loved watching wrestling, old TV shows and eating ice cream and orange sherbet. He would do anything for anyone. Otto dearly loved his wife, kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all his heart. His family meant everything to him and he was there for them if they needed anything.

Otto is survived by his two sons; Otto Snellenberger, Jr. and Ronald Snellberger and two daughters; Christine D. Taylor and Robin L. Marcum. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two daughters, Nanette A. McNew and Shelley S. Lamblin and one son, Brian K. Snellenberger.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home – STANDISH CHAPEL, Standish, Michigan where Otto will receive full military honors. According to Otto’s wishes, cremation will follow the service. The family will greet family and friends at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Standish Chapel from 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2019 until time of service at 7:00 p.m.
