Lorraine Mary (Schroeder) Fisher, 93, of Standish, MI, passed away peacefully Thursday, May 21, 2020 with her family by her side.

She was born in Roseville, Michigan on November 21, 1926 to the late John and Rose (Klebba) Schroeder. Lorraine married Raymond Longworth Fisher on January 29, 1949 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Detroit, Michigan. They had a wonderful life and were blessed with seven children.

Lorraine enjoyed many hobbies which included square dancing, crafts and puzzles. She was an excellent seamstress and had a talent for doing hand sewn quilts. Lorraine also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She also loved to play games and cards. Lorraine enjoyed playing golf and especially loved playing with her husband, Ray, in the couples’ league. She was also an excellent homemaker and mother of her seven children; Randolph, Nancy, Diane, Ronald, Daniel, Darlene and Joyce, her 22 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Lorraine is survived by her children; Randolph (Debra) Fisher, Nancy Miller, Diane (Clarence) Lorence, Ronald (Susan) Fisher, Daniel Fisher, Darlene (Glenn) Froehly and Joyce (Brian) Adams. Lorraine is also survived by two brothers and two sisters; Jerome Schroeder, Esther (Bernard) Housden, Shirley (Ronald) Burton and Leroy (Ann) Schroeder.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Fisher; grandson, Justin Fisher; son-in-law, Robert Archangeli, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Cathy Fisher and two brothers, Jack Schroeder and Thomas Schroeder.

A private graveside service will be held for Lorraine. Interment will be in Sterling Cemetery with Rev. Fr. David Parsch officiating.

Lorraine’s family would like to thank Compassus Hospice for their excellent care and support, especially Helen, Marge, Tiffany and Tammy.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee Ramsay Funeral Home-STANDISH CHAPEL, Standish, Michigan.
