Lady Panthers make history despite falling short of state title

The Standish-Sterling Central softball team left its place in the history books June 14 as the only female team from the school that played in a state semifinal game.

The game was held at Michigan State University.

Despite their best efforts, the Lady Panthers saw their road to the finals end after they fell short of defeating Millington with a final score of 7-1.
