Kids learn about animals with ‘superpowers’ at library

Children and adults gathered to listen to Howell Nature Center Wildlife Technician Stephanie Bussema speak about wild animals with superpower-type abilities, such as super speed, heightened senses and more at the Mary Johnston Memorial Library in Standish Thursday, July 11. Bussema also showed the crowd several wild animals during her speech. The presentation was also held earlier in the day at the Au Gres Community Library.

The “Wildlife Superpowers” presentation was part of the Iosco-Arenac District Library’s summer reading program series.
