David Boyd Bell, 80, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida with his daughters, Angela Dempsey (Steve) and Linda Jackson (Scott) by his side.

He was a resident of Au Gres, Michigan and has been a Michigander all his life. He is survived by his two daughters, grandchildren, Eric Caldwell, Kyle Anderson (Kiersten), Brooke Whitaker (Jake), Dana Sutton (Rob) and Maxwell Dempsey; and great-grandchildren, Cameron Caldwell, Alexander Sutton, Phoebe Sutton and Juliette Whitaker.

Dave had a great passion for hunting and could tell many stories of his great adventures. He also loved a good hand of black jack, a poker party with the guys and a trip to the casino. He was employed at Buick in Flint, Michigan for 42 years and made his retirement in Au Gres with his past wife of 55 years, Jeanette, who passed away in 2015. He was a great husband to her. We will remember him for his gift of gab and wonderful spirit.

A visitation in his memory will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Au Gres, Michigan, on Saturday, April 4, 2020, with Catholic Mass following at 11:00 a.m. Please feel free to make a donation in lieu of flowers to Au Gres Christian Charities Food Bank, c/o St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 415 S. Court Street, Au Gres, Michigan 48703.
