Clyde S. Neid, 78, of Omer passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on June 25, 2019.

He was born in Omer on Dec. 11, 1940, to the late Stanley Neid and Lilliam (Nott) Cousineau. Clyde was married in Hale on Sept. 1, 1962. He enjoyed 56 years of marriage to the love of his life and best friend, Marjorie (Sczepkowski) Neid. He was a Catholic, Estey Moose member and a lifelong member of Union Local 706. Clyde loved to spend his time camping, hunting, country dancing, watching NASCAR and his grandsons playing football.

Clyde is survived by his wife, Marjorie; and his son, Rick and Edye (Borushko) Neid. He is also survived by grandsons, Zackary and Taylor (Jurek) Neid and Clayton Neid; and two sisters, Delina Shannon and Elaine Belchak.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Diane Pross and Bernadine Pross.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 8, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church, Standish, with the Rev. Father David Parsch officiating. Cremation will follow. Clyde will lie in state from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel.
