Died July 27, 2019


Barbara Jean Pavlik, 75, of Sterling, formerly of Whittemore, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019, as a result of an automobile accident.

She was born Nov. 15, 1943, in Hale to Lester and Viola (Kelly) Green. She worked as a caregiver for Serenity Home Health Care. Barb enjoyed bowling, reading, gardening, playing cards and cooking, and she dearly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Barb is survived by her son, Dennis (Lizzette) Dahne of Aberdeen, Wash.; daughter, Deann (Clancy) Stevens of Prescott; grandchildren, Thomas Dahne, Cody Roach-Dahne, Tyler Rockwell, Cali Pavlik, Kassandra Erazo, Charlie Stevens, Kevin McMaster, Charlene Haskins and Lynzie and Brandon Beck; great-grandchildren, Vincent Roach-Dahne, Tanner Roach-Dahne and Laiken Roach-Dahne; sisters, Donna Wier of Whittemore, Louise Guibard of Hale, Rosemary Humpert of East Tawas, Neva (James) Fellows of Hale and Kathy (Jay) Horton of Hale; brother, Ben Green of Hale; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Donald Dahne and Vincent Pavlik; son, Patrick Dahne; sisters, Anna Parker and Deelynn Green; and brothers, Max Green and Billy Green.

Visitation will take place Friday, Aug. 2, 2019, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Judson Baptist Church in Prescott. The memorial service will take place at the church at 1 p.m. with Pastor Doug Kennedy officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Saints Cemetery in Whittemore.
