Lucille Margaret Mudge, age 95, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at The Horizon’ Senior Living.

Lucille was born on August 28, 1927, in Whittemore, Michigan to the late Earl and Amy (Beardsley) Newberry. She met the love of her life Hazen Mudge by the Ferris wheel at the Standish Fair. They married in Standish in 1947, and celebrated 35 wonderful years, returning to the Ferris wheel where it all began. Lucille enjoyed reading, embroidering, fishing, and spending time with her family. Her passion in life was helping others babysitting and raising children.

Lucille is survived by her daughter Patricia Gallagher and son-in-law Randy Haas; grandchildren Brenda Bardonni, Miranda (David) Mueller, Kendra (Joel) Kuhn, Jason (Tiffany) Haas, and Tedd (Amanda) Haas; 13 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Hazen in 1982, daughter Linda Haas, son-in-law Danny Gallagher, granddaughter Kimberly Haas, grandson Julius Bardonni, great-grandson Levi Mueller and greatgreat- grandson Jackson Mueller.

Funeral Services were be held Monday, March 27 at 11 a.m. from Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel with Pastor David Mueller presiding, with burial in Woodmere Cemetery.

Friends visited at the funeral chapel on Sunday, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
