Snow Ball

The Au Gres PTO is hosting a Snow Ball on Friday, March 7 from 6-8 p.m. All kindergarten through fifth grade families are invited to attend. The ball will be held in the AGS Elementary Gym and it is free to attend.

The evening will include dancing, cookies, hot cocoa and activities. Donations will be collected at the door to support this year’s special PTO project.

Euchre night

The Third Annual Euchre Night Scholarship Fundraiser will be held Thursday, March 20 at the Arenac County Veterans Club, Post 104, at 3221 M-76 in Standish.

Doors open at 5:15 p.m. with dinner at 5:45 p.m. and cards begin at 6:15 p.m.

Cost is $25 per person and includes a ticket for door prizes. The event will include chicken dinners from Buck’s Country Cooking and coffee and water are included. Cash bar will be available.

The event raises money to fund a scholarship program that is available to Arenac County high school seniors. The event is also collecting non-perishable food items for cash donations for the Harvest For All program. Each food or cash donation enters you into a drawing for a special prize.

Mar. 6 – Au Gres-Sims High School, 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Mar. 14 – Saganing Tribal Center, 8 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. ($10 free play for all donors)

Mar. 18 – Prince of Peace – Linwood, 8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Mar. 18 – Pinconning High School. 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
