Edward “Ned” Dufort, 86 of Standish, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2023. Ed is survived by Carol, his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, his brother Robert (Bob), his daughter Nancy Borushko and son-in-law Marty, his son Eric and daughter-inlaw Julie and grandchildren Kingston, Elizabeth, and Leonidas, and many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his mother Jean (Laura), his sister Nancy, brother Donald (Jake) and sister Karen and his son Timothy.

Died April 12, 2023 Jerry Lee Smith passed away on April 12, 2023, with family by his side. He was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 27, 1952, to the late Alford and Vida (Speerman) Smith.

Died April 6, 2023 Michele Lynn (Kohn) LaBeau passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2023, after a long illness. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mema, sister, and aunt with a love for God and children.

Died April 14, 2023 Ingrid Mary Simpson, age 76, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at MediLodge of Sterling, surrounded by her family. She was born on June 30, 1946, in Kalkaska, MI to Claude and Eva (Shepherdson) Rowley.

Died April 3, 2023 Douglas Carter Hankins, 88, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 3 after saying goodbye to his family. Doug was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 9, 1934, to parents Esther (Oja) Hankins and Taylor Hankins.

Died March 21, 2023 Lucille Margaret Mudge, age 95, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at The Horizon’ Senior Living. Lucille was born on August 28, 1927, in Whittemore, Michigan to the late Earl and Amy (Beardsley) Newberry.

March 8, 2023 Cheryl St. Aubin, formerly Ruggirello, age 68, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, after many health issues and illnesses over several years.

Died March 3, 2023 Gloria “Mickey” Jean Sizemore, age 79 of St. Helen, Michigan, passed away at her home on March 3, 2023.

Died January 30, 2023 David Walter Drouse, a loving son, brother and uncle, was taken from us January 30, 2023. David was born on January 28, 1955, to Shirley (Dow) Drouse and Walter Drouse at Standish Hospital, Michigan.
