Tyler Roahrig holds off Rosebrugh to win the Growler 100

WHITTEMORE — After physically exhausting heat and several cautions Tyler Roahrig held off second-place finisher Todd Rosebrugh and others for the Growler 100 win June 30.

It was the second year for Roahrig at the race track. Last year, with around 20 laps left, Roahrig broke down and was eliminated.

“It was pretty good after last year’s performance,” Roahrig said after the race. “I appreciate the Rosebrugh’s and Whittemore Speedway for putting this on.”

Todd Rosebrugh led the race for a few laps after passing Roahrig on the inside. However, after a couple cautions kept the field tight, Roahrig was able to get on the inside and gain the lead for the win.
