GRAND RAPIDS –– Kyle Zobel of Twining will go from being an Eagle to a Tiger after he signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Grace Bible College in Grand Rapids on Monday, April 9, 2012.

Coming from a small school, Zobel said he was happy with his decision to play at Grace because it reminded him of home.

“At first Grace wasn’t an option,” Zobel said. “But they were the only ones that gave me a chance to prove myself.”

“And I may not be the tallest or strongest but they looked at me as a person,” he added.

Zobel said his choices were Grace and Adrian College.

“They are both smaller schools,” he said. “But every time I visited Grace they made me feel like family.”
