DEEP RIVER TWP. — An accident at the Riverview Campground in Deep River Township early Sunday, July 15 left a visiting woman dead from her injuries.

Megan Levoska, 36, of Hartland, was run over by her own vehicle at around 4:40 a.m. in what Arenac County Sheriff James Mosciski called a “freak accident.”

“She got in it to leave, put it in reverse, fell out, and it proceeded to go over her,” Mosciski said.

Mosciski said Levoska was taken to St. Mary’s of Michigan Standish Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 5:32 a.m.

Levoska had been staying at the campground with her husband Donald and some other friends, Mosciski said.
