What we're reading today: Unemployment rates, pope moves on sex abuse, and right-to-work

Here are some of the news stories we are reading today, April 5:

- MSNBC reports that the U.S. unemployment rate dipped even as fewer jobs were added in March than expected.

- The Detroit Free Press reports on an Ingham County judge chastizing the state legislature for trying to avoid his courtroom in the language in its right-to-work law, passed last December. The lawsuit alleges the legislature violated the open meetings act when passing the law.

- The Detroit News has a piece about Pope Francis I directing the Vatican to take action in the sex abuse scandals that have plagued the church, while victims' rights groups are unimpressed.
