Here's what we're reading on March 22:
- The Detroit News has a report on the tragic suicide of an eighth-grade student in the Southgate school district, who reportedly shot himself in a bathroom at Davidson Middle School.
- The Detroit Free Press has an article about schools in Detroit and other areas that have turned around thanks to big investments.
- And finally, NPR has an article about genome manipulation on mosquitos that could eventually lead to them being unable to transmit diseases like dengue fever.
