STANDISH -- Ogemaw Heights kicker Jarritt Orlando nailed a 27-yard field goal in overtime to give the Falcons a come-from-behind 16-13 win over Standish-Sterling Central in Northeast Michigan Conference high school football action Friday, Sept. 11.

The visiting Falcons trailed the host Panthers 13-0 heading into the fourth quarter but battled back. Running back Tyler Brindley cut the Panthers lead to 13-6 with a touchdown run, and after Orlando booted the extra point, it was 13-7

Then OHHS quarterback John Hughes ran for a touchdown with 25 seconds left to knot the score at 13-13, but Orlando missed the extra point, forcing overtime.

SSC had the ball first in the extra session and missed a field goal on fourth down, setting the stage for Orlando's game-winning kick.
