Three defendants in perjury case seek damages from county
Several others being sought for damages as well
The refusal of the reimbursements, which had to be accepted by April of this year, must have been foreshadowing of events to come, since Lynch, Seder and Kernstock have all served the county with litigation papers.
Alger resident John Curcio, who was found guilty but later appealed and was cleared of assault and battery charges alleged by Lynch after a Board of Commissioners meeting in 2004, when Lynch was a member of the board; Michigan State Police (Tawas Post) Lieutenant Robert Lesneski, who conducted a polygraph test on Lynch; Gary Rapp, who represented the three plaintiffs in the case against Curcio before charging them with perjury; and John/Jane Doe, the author of the underground newsletter “The Arenac County Town Crier,” were also served with litigation from the parties’ attorney, Victor Mastromarco Jr., of The Mastromarco firm of Saginaw.
