The Lions are turkeys, what about the game?

The Detroit Lions are so bad, and have been for so many years, that some in the national sports media are suggesting the NFL pull the plug on their annual Thanksgiving Day game so fans can watch a better game on Turkey Day.

The Thanksgiving Day game originated with the Lions back in the 1930s and they've been playing it in Detroit every year since.

The Dallas Cowboys started hosting its own Thanksgiving Day game back in the early 1970s, and the NFL recently started televising a third game on Turkey Day.

Should the traditional game in Detroit continue, or should the NFL tell the Lions to stuff-it and take it away?
