Two suspects were recently arrested for allegedly receiving and concealing stolen property in Arenac County, according to Arenac County Undersheriff Donald McIntyre.

Jeffrey Neil Dowell, 28, and Ryan Michael Thoryk, 41, are currently being lodged in the Arenac County jail in connection with four breaking and entering complaints that occurred in late October and November, he said.

According to McIntyre, a sheriff’s deputy located stolen items at an area pawnshop, and a search warrant was executed on Grove Road in Standish. Deputies were able to locate stolen property that was reported missing from four separate breaking and entering complaints throughout the county.

Additional charges in connection with the other breaking and entering complaints are expected, he said.
