“Stuff the Bus” scheduled for Aug. 10

STANDISH — People interested in donating school supplies for Standish-Sterling students will have their chance Aug. 10, as Nancy and Ron Curtis host a “stuff the bus” fundraising drive at Family Fare in Standish.

According to Nancy, the fundraiser will be held at the store for one day, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., due to the closure of Pamida as the store rebrands itself as a Shopko. The focus for the supplies are for elementary students through fifth grade.

Nancy said the donations received last year greatly helped out the local teachers.
