Standish man arrested, arraigned for armed robbery in Bay County

BAY COUNTY — Michael Pastorick, a 35-year-old Standish man was arraigned Monday in Bay County’s 74th District Court for alleged armed robbery.
Pastorick was arrested at approximately 1:30 a.m. Monday for allegedly committing armed robbery in Bay County.
Reports say the Bay City Police Sergeant Edward Broomberg checked on a Bay City 7-Eleven store and learned the suspect, Pastorick, had just held up the clerk at knife-point and fled on foot. He was located in a vehicle near the scene and arrested without incident.
District Court Judge Craig Alston ordered Pastorick to be held without bond.
His arrest follows a string of armed robberies reported in Bay County over the past few weeks.
