Arenac County drug K-9 Sonic was the star of the night during the fourth annual Arenac County Canine Team fundraiser dinner and auction Oct. 17. The event included a catered dinner, silent auction and raffles, and gave people in the community a chance to meet Sonic. Deputy Trevor Sprague, the county’s K-9 officer, also conducted training demonstrations with Sonic during the fundraiser, which was held at the Standish Knights of Columbus Hall.
