Pinconning wins final home game


PINCONNING - Oct. 24, 2008 - Pinconning's Nick Schultz rushed for 331 yards and a school-record six touchdowns on 19 carries Friday to lead the Spartans to a season-ending 47-21 victory over Bullock Creek.

Playing the first team all season that wasn't a playoff qualifier, the Spartans took full advantage as Schultz scored on runs of three and 35 yards on the first quarter and 21 yards in the second for a 20-14 halftime lead.

Schultz added touchdown runs of 48, 52 and 50 yards before Matt Leppek finished the night with a 25-yard touchdown.

The Spartans wrapped up their season at 3-6, while Creek fell to 1-8.
