Pinconning man dies after attempted burglary

FRASER TOWNSHIP — An alleged attempted burglary at an apartment above the Roadside Inn, in Fraser Township, ended with a deceased suspect on Friday morning.

A 911 call at approximately 6:30 a.m., reports say, led the suspect to flee the scene of the attempted burglary, and he was later struck by two cars, transported via ambulance to Bay Regional Medical Center, where he was eventually reported dead.

Reports add that near the scene of the accident, a pistol and other alleged burglary tools were found. The drivers who struck the suspect are not expected to be charged, due to weather conditions.

The suspect’s name has not been released. He is being identified as a 25-year old Pinconning man.
