Panther kickers trail early and lose

GRAYLING -- Standish-Sterling Central fell behind 3-0 in the first half and went on to lose a 5-3 decision to Grayling in boys' varsity soccer action Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Tanner Trombley had two goals for SSC, Dylan Williams had a goal and one assist, while Derek Williams had one assist.

SSC keeper Cody Bechtel came on in relief before halftime after Grayling scored its fourth goal and turned in a sparkling performance as he turned away 18 Viking shots while giving up just one goal.
