Panther gridders keep playoff hopes alive

BENZONIA -- Standish-Sterling Central's football team kept its post-season playoff hopes alive with a 6-0 win over Benzonia-Benzie Central Friday, Oct. 23.

The Panthers closed the regular season at 5-4 with the victory and now must wait until Sunday to see if their record is good enough to qualify for the post-season.

Playoff pairings will be announced Sunday by the Michigan High School Athletic Association and posted on this site sometime after 7 p.m.
