PHS girls third at county meet

UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The Pinconning girls' cross-country team legged out a third-place finish at annual Bay County Cross-Country Meet at Delta College Wednesday, Sept. 2.

Emily Podgorniak led the Spartans by placing fourth in 21:42, while Jessica Vidalez took seventh in 22:26. Both girls made first-team all-county with their performances.

In the boys race, Pinconning placed fifth, led by freshman ben Hemstreet, who covered the course in 20:42.
