PASD approves closure of Mount Forest

PINCONNING — The Pinconning Area School District Board of Education approved the closure of Mount Forest Elementary School during its school board meeting April 12.

“In five years, we’ve lost 507 students,” said Ken Cunningham, president of the PASD school board.

Cunningham said that more information about the closing will be posted to the district’s website.

The motion to approve the school closing passed 7-0.
