Our failures only make us stronger

Sometimes in life, people just fail. We get turned down after someone else gets that job we want, or we give in to the pressure of goals we just can’t reach.
Failure is a part of life, and although we may not like it, it happens to us all.
Although we try and stay positive and tell ourselves that we are great and that nothing can get in our way, sometimes life gets in front of us and pushes us back down to reality.
And no matter what we think, we keep looking up at a mountain that seems impossible to climb.
It’s like all you can do is stop and stare out the window, thinking, “What the heck is going on?”
We can’t expect that everything we ever wanted will fall into our laps. If that were the case, I would be racing NASCAR and playing in the NBA.
For some reason things just don’t work out sometimes, even if we want them to more than anything.
There are times where we can jump ahead of ourselves and become too confident. We can believe in ourselves too much and make plans based on what we believe will happen. That is when failure can hurt us the most.
But what we don’t always realize is that we learn more about ourselves in our moments of failure. In times of struggle, we demonstrate who we really are.
It’s times like that, when we don’t get the job we wanted even after a great interview, or when we find out that we‘re wrong when we knew we were right, that teach us the greatest lessons.
Those are the times when we need to realize that although we have failed, we have to become better for it.
We also have to realize that we can’t do it alone. When we fail we need someone to be there to pick us up or it will be 10 times harder to move on.
When you have someone who believes in you, that’s all the motivation a person can ask for – you have to use that motivation to get up when you’re down, and press on even if that mountain looks impossible.
At the end of the day, we all will fail. At these times, we have to be thankful for what we have and what we earn. We need to keep pushing, never giving up, and someday we will achieve our goals.
