STANDISH — A woman from Bay City was injured in a two-car accident Aug. 18 on US-23 at Grove Road.

According to Undersheriff Don McIntyre, Nadine Renshaw of Au Gres was traveling northbound on Grove in a Chevy S-10 when she stopped at the intersection with US-23 at approximately 1:20 p.m. McIntyre said when Renshaw allegedly started to cross the road, her vehicle was hit by a Pontiac G6 driven by Mary Bosco of Bay City, who was traveling eastbound on US-23.

Bosco was injured in the accident and taken to St. Mary’s of Michigan Standish Hospital, McIntyre said. Everyone was wearing seatbelts, and neither vehicle had passengers, he said. No citations have been issued at this time.
