None injured in Globe car fire

STANDISH — No one was reported injured in a car fire at Globe Fire Sprinkler in Standish April 18.

The fire was first called in around 4:30 p.m. Employees on the scene said they had just arrived for the second shift when they learned of a car on fire in the parking lot, and called 911.

The Standish Area Fire Authority and the Arenac County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call, and the fire was out by about 4:55 p.m.

The cause is still under investigation.
