More charges coming against Standish man arrested for Bay County robberies

BAY COUNTY — An Oct. 5 arrest of Michael Pastorick, of Standish, that was made soon after an alleged armed robbery of a Bay City 7-Eleven led officials to connect Pastorick to other armed robberies that have recently occurred in Bay County.

Reports say Pastorick, 35, was arraigned in Bay County District Court on Oct. 8 for three charges each of armed robbery and carrying a weapon with unlawful intent. These follow two counts each of the same charges that were brought against Pastorick earlier this week after the arrest.

He is believed to be connected to at least five armed robberies that have occurred since Sept. 19. Reports say the venues of the robberies include two 7-Elevens in Bay City, along with one in Bangor Township; a Speedway in Pinconning Township; and a Meijer Gas Station in Monitor Township.

Two other alleged convenience store robberies that have occurred since Sept. 19 are also being investigated and Pastorick could face charges in those incidents as well.
