Meeting about E. coli in Whitney Drain to take place Monday

WHITNEY TWP— A meeting between Central Michigan Health Department representatives and residents who live near the mouth of the Whitney Drain will take place Monday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m., at the Whitney Township Hall.

Mike Snyder, chairman of the Arenac County Commissioners said that the meeting will show results of E. coli testing that has taken place at the drain over the past year, including posable sources of the E. coli.

“The ramifications of this meeting will be significant,” he said.
